Birse Rail
In 2001, H W Martin (Fencing Contractors) Ltd was selected by Birse Rail, and Edmund Nutall Ltd, to renew fencing on the West Coast Main Line Route Development Project between Euston Station, London, and the Anglo Scottish Border.
This project lasted until 2004 during which in excess of 350km of fencing was erected. Much of the fencing was steel palisade type, but steel meshes and stock proof post and wire fences were also installed.
