Last weekend saw H W Martin Waste Ltd’s Administration Office Manager, Liam Vint, circumnavigate the coast of the Isle of Wight, non-stop to raise money for charity.
Walking in aid of Diabetes UK, Liam not only smashed his fundraising target by exceeding £900 he also powered his way around the island to complete the 70-mile challenge in 24 hours.
It’s going to take some time before his feet stop hurting and the blisters disappear, but Liam is rightly proud of his achievement. Speaking about the fantastic sum of money he raised, Liam commented: “The bulk of this came from those at H W Martin. Thanks for all the support, it made a huge difference to me and Diabetes UK.”
