Job Title: Compliance Co-ordinator
Location: Alfreton, off J28, M1.
Hours of work: Full time, 5 days per week
Rate of pay: Competitive dependent on experience and qualifications.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Co-ordinator to complement our existing waste management team.
An active and challenging Compliance Co-ordinator role that requires an exceptionally organised and proactive individual to assist the waste management team with meeting contractual obligations, legal requirements and ensuring elements of our management system are up to date and communicated accordingly.
The Role:
Are you passionate about ensuring environmental and health & safety compliance and maintaining high standards? In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring we meet our contractual and legislative requirements across our national operational locations. You’ll also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain records.

Responsibilities:
- Achieve performance targets as agreed with the Compliance & Special Projects Manager and report progress as agreed and in person on a timely basis.
- Document controller for our ISO Management Systems including ISO 9001, 14,001 and 45,001.
- Ensuring that essential Compliance and Health & Safety tasks are completed in the agreed timeframes.
- Develop and progress by working collaboratively with all stakeholders to achieve Company objectives and individual targets.
- Completing Environmental permit application forms and supporting evidence.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain effective working relationships with the Line Manager, colleagues, sub-contractors, and external parties.
- Lead on training matrix updates and maintain our eLearning platform.
- Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
- Provide administrative support to the Compliance Managers and the Health and Safety Advisor.
- Provide pre and post administrative support for internal and external audits.
- Support management system owners with administrative support, document management activities and ensuring that the Company website platform is kept up to date.
- Work effectively as part of the Management team and develop a commercial awareness of business activity and the bottom line.
Requirements:
- Flexibility for travel between sites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook and Excel)
- Valid UK driving License.
