HW Martin Waste Ltd are seeking a Machine Driver to join the team, based at our Chesterfield (Stonegravels) Household Waste Recycle Centre site

Job Title:  Machine Driver

Location:  Chesterfield, Derbyshire (S41)

Rate of pay:  Up to £11.50 per hour

Hours of work:  Full time

The Role:

HW Martin Waste Ltd are looking for a Machine Driver to support our overall operation at Stonegravels Household Waste Recycle Centre.

The role will include safe operating of plant machinery, advising and sorting recycling products and liaising with the general public.

Key skills/experience:

  • You will have the ability to understand instructions and carry them out and have a be prepared to develop a general understanding of health and safety.
  • This role will be customer facing so good communication skills are essential.
  • Previous experience in operating mobile plant equipment such as 360 excavators or similar is essential. Internal training to be able to operate our machinery will be provided for the successful candidate.
