The Role
H W Martin Safety Fencing Limited (est. 1987) provides specialist vehicle restraint system services to the highways industry. Our client base includes Highways England, local authorities and the UK’s major construction companies.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to provide expert knowledge, guidance and support to our operational business.
An active and challenging role that requires the individual to be organised, with a high sense of professionalism, and will be responsible for completing various administration tasks to support the overall business.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly timesheets and monthly payroll schedule.
- Making and checking upon arrival various orders, such as tools, PPE and opening new supplier accounts as required.
- Coordinate Production activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies and procedures.
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, stock, production totals and other data.
- Data Entry processes
- Arrange kit and equipment calibrations
- Manage phone calls and correspondence.
- Assist in Purchase Orders, goods in and invoicing.
- All other reasonable admin associated duties
Education, Skills, and Experience
- Good attention to detail.
- Methodical and thorough approach to work.
- A desire to show initiative.
- Confident and reliable team player.
- Able to work to strict deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- HND or equivalent In Administration is desirable but not essential.
