The Role:

 We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Apprentice to join our sales department. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to kick-start their career in sales. As a Sales Apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced Business Development Manager to learn the ins and outs of sales, customer communication, and gain a product knowledge in the heavy haulage and project engineering industry.

  • Learn about our products/services, target market, and sales strategies through comprehensive training sessions.
  • Assist Business Development Manager with prospecting, lead generation, and customer activities.
  • Shadow Business Development Manager with during client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to gain valuable hands-on experience.
  • Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with potential customers and address their needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to brainstorm innovative sales tactics and strategies.
  • Provide administrative support, including maintaining sales records, preparing reports, and managing CRM databases

Key Skills/Experience:

 To join our team, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop sales skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and CRM software

Training Provided:

  • Sales executive – (level 4 – Equivalent to higher national certificate (HNC)
