HW Martin Waste Ltd are seeking a Site Operative to join our Cheshire operations team

Job Title:  Site Operative  

Location:  Sandbach, Cheshire (CW11) plus regular travel to other sites across Cheshire will be required

Rate of pay:  Up to £9.90 per hour + occasional opportunities for overtime + travel expenses will be paid for travel to other sites

Hours of work:  Sunday to Thursday, 8-hour day shifts

The Role:

HW Martin Waste Ltd are looking for a Site Operative to join the team at our Sandbach site, who will also attend other sites across our Cheshire operating area.

We are looking for a flexible individual whose duties will be varied and include the following:

  • General grounds maintenance tasks – litter picking, weeding and cleaning.
  • Minor repairs and maintenance.
  • Operating plant/ machinery at sites when required.  Similar experience would be preferrable, however full training will be provided.
  • Assisting external contractors when required.
  • Supporting installation of new equipment where required and necessary.
  • Providing site operative cover on any of our household waste sites on an ad hoc basis.

The successful candidate will require their own transport and business use insurance as the role involves travelling to multiple sites across Cheshire.
