Thameslink Resilience Programe Phase 2
During 2018 and early 2019, H W Martin completed major fencing and vegetation management works on the East Coast Mainline (ECM1) between Hadley Wood and Stevenage to assist in delivery of the Thameslink Resilience Programme Phase 2 Project.
A total of 56,589 working hours was completed with zero accidents. Combining detailed and robust planning with specialist machinery and expertise, all works were completed safely and on time. Working in complex areas (inclusive of OHLE), all aspects of quality, ecology and waste management were completed in an efficient and professional manner.

New Class 1 Palisade fencing installed on ECM1
Circa 27,000 linear metres of vegetation management works were completed to remove the risk of leaf fall, striking branches and improvements for signal sighting.
Circa 29,000 linear metres of fencing was installed to reduce the risk of trespass and vandalism proving a more resilient and reliable asset.
