We are pleased to announce that one of our longest-serving members of HW Martin Waste Ltd – and still one of the youngest! – enjoyed her wedding day on Saturday 22nd May.
Casey Sly (nee Horner) is our Office Manager & PA to the Director, who started with us fourteen years ago as a 16-year old office junior.
Casey married Elliott in the beautiful surroundings of Norwood Park in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. Despite restrictions on gatherings, they were still able to be joined by twelve close family members for the ceremony, with a few more joining them later for a drinks reception.
Due to the current difficulties with travelling abroad, Casey and Elliott didn’t have an overseas honeymoon. Instead, they had an equally enjoyable and romantic “mini-moon”. The wedding night was spent in a picturesque cottage in the village of Baslow in the Derbyshire Peak District. From there they went on to enjoy two nights in a tree lodge in the Swinton Estate near Ripon, North Yorkshire.
Next year, the couple will be hosting a big bash where many more family and friends will be able to get together and celebrate the marriage.
