H W Martin (Traffic Management) Ltd are pleased to announce the opening of a new depot and operating centre for the north-east of England. The new premises are located on the Drum Industrial Estate in Chester-le-Street, just a couple of minutes from the A1(M).
This new facility represents a substantial investment on behalf of H W Martin (Traffic Management) Ltd and The Martin Group of Companies, and is a further demonstration of our commitment to establishing a substantial and long-lasting presence in the north-east.
In early 2017, H W Martin (Traffic Management) Ltd were appointed to Highways England’s major new Construction Works Framework contract covering the motorways and major trunk roads in the north-east of England (news article April 2017: The Martin Group secures major new HE contracts). This new depot will ensure we deliver our services on that contract safely and efficiently, whilst also providing an excellent facility from which to expand our operations in the region.
