…we also witnessed the eventual opening of the Millennium Dome and the founding of the Napster file sharing website (both since taken over and re-launched).
But by far the biggest event of the year was the launch by H W Martin Holdings of H W Martin Waste Limited—or “Martin Waste”.
In 2009 H W Martin Waste celebrates 10 Years in the business. From starting as a subcontractor for a large waste management company, H W Martin Waste Ltd. soon realised that we could do it better ourselves. Our local authority clients agreed with us and since then the company has enjoyed rapid growth in customer satisfaction and turnover.
We have helped dozens of organisations improve their recycling rates and divert waste from landfill. Our methods of recycling ensure recovery and recycling are as high as possible. Our relationships with recycled materials re-processors are second-to-none.
Thank you to all the people who have made the last 10 years so successful—from our field staff, drivers, head office support, client representatives, and of course the thousands of members of the public who have put their waste into the recycling process.
