‘HW Martin (Fencing Contractors) Limited’ have this week changed their name to ‘HW Martin Fencing and Forestry Limited’.
HW Martin (Fencing Contractors) Limited were the first HW Martin Group company to be formed back in 1974. Since then, they have provided fencing solutions to a wide range of customers in the Rail, Highways, Building and Infrastructure sectors. During the 1990’s the company started to undertake vegetation management and site clearance activities on the railway which continued as a secondary service offering for over 20 years. Since 2019, the company has focused on growing this side of the business to provide large scale site clearance and forestry services on major projects. With the investment into in-house industry leading equipment, the company now undertakes half of their works in the vegetation management sector.
Brian Stone, Director of HW Martin Fencing and Forestry, commented “The name change was needed to ensure our name and brand represent the services we offer and to better place us in the vegetation management marketplace. We have significantly increased our turnover and investment in the vegetation management and forestry sectors, which enables us to undertake large scale projects with our own mechanised forestry equipment and expertise. Our aim is to provide a competitive, efficient, and safe solution to our clients whilst also fulfilling our social value commitments and leaving a positive legacy within the communities we work”.
