Thrilled students at Glebelands Primary Academy transformed into little traffic managers when they received a generous gift of miniature signs and cones designed just for them! With boundless enthusiasm, they dove into the task, creating their own mini roadways and directing cardboard cars with glee!

Deputy Head, Nicola Folwell said:

“There was a lot of excitement and curiosity working it all out! Some made toy cars out of cardboard boxes. Now they want bikes to create traffic jams!”

But the donation wasn’t just about fun – it was a gateway to learning. By engaging in this hands-on activity, students got a taste of the equipment and careers in highways and construction, sparking their curiosity and imagination.

The generous donation from HW Martin (Traffic Management) Ltd was organised by James Hunt, Sustainability Manager, and Tini Halford, Environment Manager, from the HSE Team, opening up a world of possibilities for these budding road warriors!
