Staff at the Durham office of Premier Waste Recycling are moving from the rented office at Aykley Heads to our own enlarged premises at Drum Industrial Estate, Birtley, County Durham.
This means that our accounts, sales and transport staff will be on the same site as the operational team and will improve our internal communication, ultimately providing a more efficient service for our customers.
Premier Waste Recycling Ltd is a subsidiary of H W Martin Waste Ltd and part of the Martin Group of Companies. The Martin Group has been established since 1976, employs over 1,000 staff across the UK and has a turnover in excess of £70 million.
The Company is committed to expanding its operations in the North East and since April has invested over £1/2 million in buildings and machinery, which has already helped the business to achieve increased levels of recycling. We have taken on around 50 additional staff, employing a total of more than 180 across the North East region.
The move takes place on Tuesday 22nd November.
