HW Martin Waste Ltd are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract for the management of the Household Waste Recycling Centre’s (HWRC’s) effective from 28th October 2023.

As part of the contract we are working closely with the Local Authorities and are pleased to contribute to the local sustainable waste goals. The contract involves the long term management of 14 HWRC’s across Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham and encompasses a number of improvements to the sites that will enhance the service to the general public.

In addition to the management of the Household Waste Recycling Centre’s HW Martin Waste Ltd have committed to delivering various Social Value initiatives in each Local Authority area and have employed a dedicated Social Value Manager to coordinate the delivery. Amongst a number of other valuable social value measures, HW Martin Waste have committed to employing local people, and educating other businesses on the sustainability and the green economy.
