Job Title: Recycling Advisor (Temporary)

Location: Rushden Household Waste Recycling Centre, Northampton Road, NN10 6BW.

Hours of Work: Wednesday to Sunday 9:45am to 6:15pm –  all year round

Rate of Pay: Up to £13.45 Per hour

Additional Benefits:  Annual Leave, Pension, Employee Assistance Programme, Life Assurance.

Contract Type:  Temporary to cover summer months (May to September 2026)

The Role:

We are looking for a Temporary Recycling Advisor to support our overall operation at Rushden Household Waste Recycle Centres throughout the summer months.

The role will include advising and sorting recycling products, liaising with the general public, providing first aid and fire Marshall cover, with appropriate training given if required.

Key Skills/Experience:

You will have the ability to understand instructions and carry them out and have a be prepared to develop a general understanding of health and safety.

This role will be customer facing so good communication skills are essential.
