We’re looking for a motivated and organised Parts, Service & Warranty Assistant to join our Aftersales team. This role is central to supporting our customers and ensuring they receive a responsive, efficient, and professional service after their trailer leaves the factory.
You’ll work closely with the Aftersales & Parts Manager across three key areas parts supply, service coordination, and warranty administration. The ideal candidate will be someone who’s keen to learn all aspects of the role, with a clear path to develop into a Parts Manager position in the near future.

Key Responsibilities
Parts
- Handle customer enquiries and quotations for parts.
- Process sales orders, purchase orders, and supplier returns.
- Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.
- Support marketing of the King Parts range.
Service
- Prepare job cards and ensure service records are kept up to date.
- Communicate progress and completion details to customers.
- Schedule and track preventative maintenance work for King’s rental and customer fleets.
Warranty
- Assist in processing warranty claims, including gathering evidence and completing documentation.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain warranty records and support reporting on recurring issues or trends.
Essential:
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Good IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach.
Desirable:
- Experience in a parts, service, or warranty environment.
- Understanding of trailers, plant equipment, or heavy vehicles.
- Full UK driving licence.
