A Lead Traffic Management Operative from the company’s Durham depot has passed his LGV Class C Level 2 Apprenticeship delivered by Time 2 Train

Clarke Pollin, 25 years old from Durham, is the first employee in the company to take and pass this training course giving him an excellent grounding in driving and being responsible for Large Goods Vehicles.

The traffic management expert’s fleet is comprised of a wealth of LGVs delivering equipment and resources to and from site as part of its work on the UKs highway network.

 Clarke comments:

“I passed my LGV Class C Level 2 today, first time. It was delivered by Time2Train, and I’m really satisfied with the experience. The instructor was great, from the get-go it was very clear how the program was going to work and what I was aiming to achieve. He made things easy and understandable. The app and resources provided were clear and user friendly. I passed my theory first time!”

Time2Train is a private training provider delivering apprenticeships in the Northeast and Northwest of England.

Mark Jackson, Operations Manager at HW Martin (Traffic Management) Ltd, comments:

“Congratulations to Clarke on gaining his LGV Class C License and passing his apprenticeship. This is a fantastic achievement. He can now proficiently control the vehicle, drive it safely and efficiently, carry out the necessary inspections and load it accurately.

“He is the first HW Martin (Traffic Management) employee that I’m aware of who has completed this LGV Class C Level 2 Apprenticeship. The trainer from Time2Train said he was a model student and a great example for others to follow. A real credit to the organisation. He is already a highly proficient operative and a valued member of the team, this qualification is another feather in his hat. He has a bright future with us.”
