H W Martin Waste Ltd was recently awarded certificates for its management of health & safety, environment and quality at the Derbyshire household waste recycling centres.
The recycling centres are located at Ashbourne, Bolsover, Bretby, Ilkeston, Heanor, Derby, Chesterfield and Glossop. The Clover Nook waste transfer station, near Alfreton, is also included. Each site is now certificated to OHSAS 18001 (for health & safety management), ISO 14001 (for environmental management) and ISO 9001 (for quality management)
H W Martin Waste Ltd manages and operates the facilites for RRS Ltd as part of a long-term, county-wide waste treatment and recycling contract for Derbyshire County and Derby City Councils.
