The Martin Group is very pleased to announce its aquisition of William Bain Fencing Ltd on Friday 20th August 2010.
William Bain Fencing is a steel fencing manufacturer, established in Edinburgh in 1859 to produce fencing and related ironworks. In 1888 the works relocated to Glasgow. The company continually innovates with new products and holds patents for fencing systems, including those commonly installed by H W Martin (Fencing Contractors) Ltd.
The acquisition of William Bain Fencing Ltd provides the Martin Group with continuation of supply, a specialised manufacturing facility, a new portfolio of contracts and, for the first time, a base in Scotland.
The Martin Group welcomes all the staff, suppliers and clients at William Bain and looks forward to a prosperous future together.
